Combinations of Materials
Particle foams can be combined with other materials to provide a variety of technical solutions.
Combination of EPS with PS foil:
- To reinforce or waterproof the surface
Combination of EPP with TPO foil:
- This gives the final product the desired visual finish and a "soft touch"
Foaming in of inserts (metal, wood, plastics):
- To reinforce the surface and making it waterproof
Inserts can also be applied after the foaming process:
- By screws
- By rotation welding
- By gluing
